No Name Saloon & Grill

After a late afternoon snowmobiling in the sunshine of Park City, Utah, my friend and I grabbed a quick dinner at a local favorite, No Name Saloon & Grill. Established in 1903 on historic Main Street, the restaurant is known for its Buffalo Saloon Burger and laid-back atmosphere. A wide variety of beers are served, including locally brewed Polygamy Porter, and one of the six saloon rules, "beer makes you smart, you better have a couple," seems to be taken quite literally.

With a big stuffed Buffalo head staring down at us, we decided to forego the famous 1/2 lb. Buffalo Saloon Burger. My friend chose a sandwich from the "Hoofless" section of the menu, and I chose fish tacos "From The Sea." We went in expecting pub grub and were pleasantly surprised, and fully satisfied, by the quality of food served.

Working up an appetite with an afternoon of snowmobiling

The Chicken Burger Olé consists of fried chicken topped off with a green chili and pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce. It is served with a side of deliciously addicting habanero aioli and crispy house made Buffalo chips with chunky No Name Saloon salsa

The Fish Tacos- flour tortillas hold a flash fried Atlantic Cod filet, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, cilantro, and a refreshing coconut lime sauce. The saloon's signature Buffalo chips and Southwestern style salsa also accompany the tacos
