Teuscher In 2010
The mean sore throat I had been battling since Sunday manifested into a full-fledged cold just in time for New Year's Eve. Determined to celebrate, but mindful of the effects alcohol has on a cold, I decided to forego a traditional champagne fueled evening. Thanks to my husband, I was able to get the taste of champagne without drinking. Knowing that a cold can't separate me from a box of Swiss chocolates, he came home with Teuscher's Champagne Truffles. In my opinion, the perfect way to toast the New Year- the center of the Champagne Truffle is an infusion of dark chocolate ganache and champagne cream (made with Dom Perignon), and the outer layer is milk chocolate sprinkled with confectioner's sugar. Happy New Year!
