I love to make my own sauces, partially because of the tantalizing aroma that will inevitably take over my entire apartment, but more specifically because the taste of fresh, local ingredients is hard to beat. Unfortunately home made sauces aren't always a reality. When I am facing time constraints, or feel too lazy to walk to my local farmer's market, I have no shame in utilizing jarred sauces (as long as the taste and price make the purchase worthwhile). One of my go-to brands is
Seeds Of Change, a company that started making organically grown seeds available to farmers and gardeners and progressed to create its own line of certified organic foods. The company's Indian Simmer Sauces, available in Korma, Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi and Madras are my favorite. They are the perfect choice for a reasonably priced, quick and delicious meal.
Seeds Of Change refers to Tikka Masala as "a mild curry sauce that's top-of-the charts in the UK"

Sauté 1 lb. of meat or vegetables (or both), add the simmer sauce, cover and simmer for 10 min

Served over rice with naan- it becomes a very satisfying meal
