Crumbs In Flatiron

Trouble lies mere feet from my apartment. The plywood covering 655 6th Ave (at 21st Street) was removed yesterday to reveal the decal for Crumbs Bake Shop, and today, the popular cupcake chain opened its doors to the public. Possibly good for the neighborhood, but a bad development for me, when I'm in throes of my third trimester- a time when my body continues to expand to extra-large proportions and my appetite for sweets shows no signs of slowing down. Did I already stop in for a cupcake? No, it was an oversized black and white cookie, and every last bite was delicious...just doing my part to support new business.

The newest Crumbs location opened its doors today
