Dunkin' Donuts will soon join the area that has become the Disney World of franchises hawking overpriced coffee and mediocre food. Standing in the intersection of 23rd Street and 6th Avenue- 4 options (soon to be 5) to satiate a coffee craving are never more than a block away- Starbucks: 23rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, 22nd Street at 6th Avenue, 24th Street at 6th Avenue; Cosi: 6th Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets; and coming soon- Dunkin' Donuts: 23rd Street between 6th and 7th Avenues (replacing a shuttered Chester Fried).
