A friend from college was married last night at the
Tribeca Rooftop, a beautiful 15,000 square foot penthouse with views of lower Manhattan and the Hudson River. In addition to a slice of moist red velvet cake layered with sweet cream cheese frosting, guests were served bite-sized desserts including carrot cake studded with plump raisins, a variety of cheesecakes (original, chocolate, and gooey caramel), and rich chocolate cake topped with bittersweet chocolate shavings. To round out the evening (making my dress slightly tighter)- shots of chilled milk and warm chocolate chip cookies.
