Stuffing At Momofuku Milk Bar

Now that Halloween has passed and bags of orange and black colored candy are flying off the shelves at a 50% discount, I can't help but think of the next food filled holiday- Thanksgiving! There are few meals that rival a Thanksgiving dinner...deliciously tender turkey smothered with warm gravy, tart cranberry sauce, whipped sweet potatoes topped with miniature marshmallows, and my favorite necessity- stuffing.

With my grandmother's savory Thanksgiving stuffing on my mind, I headed to Momofuku Milk Bar to sample its stuffing flavored soft serve. Slightly suspect but excited nonetheless, I took my first bite. My mouth was filled with an icy concoction tasting predominantly of cool celery, and when it melted away a hint of sour apple lingered on my tongue. While I can appreciate the inventiveness of the flavor profile, I can't say my personal premiere left me yearning for a second showing. In fact, I did something I would never do with traditional stuffing- I threw the vast majority of it in the trash.
