Mark Ladner On Lidia's Italy

One of the perks of working on Lidia's Italy with Lidia Bastianich is meeting creative chefs like Mark Ladner (currently Executive Chef at Del Posto and part owner of Lupa and Otto). Statuesque and equipped with a voice reminiscent of Barry White, he is surprisingly soft spoken. When I asked Mark about being in front of the camera he told me (with a charming smile) that he doesn't get nervous. He praised Lidia by saying he has nothing to worry about when he follows her lead. Watching Mark prepare Ripieni All'antica (stuffed vegetables) and speak of time spent in Liguria it's as though he has been hosting his own show for years.
